Our vision for two-way presentations will always push us to make better interaction tools, because we believe the audience should be able to communicate back to you. We observed how you use Swipe to converse with the audience: teaching a class, pitching to clients or meeting people.
While we’ve been building our new edit mode, we made some tweaks and adjustments to how polls are created and edited based on your helpful feedback. Here’s what changed regarding polls specifically:
You can edit polls
Many of you requested the ability to edit polls after they’ve been created and we listened. If you have a typo, you can fix it without having to recreate the poll. To edit a poll, just click on the poll thumbnail from the dashboard or from the edit mode to open its preview. You’ll see the edit button in the toolbar at the top of the screen. An even quicker way is to click on the preview itself, which will take you straight to edit mode.
Viewing and resetting results
Why let a perfectly good poll go to waste? If you want to reuse the same poll for another presentation, then you can reset your results. Click on the thumbnail to open the preview and see the reset results button in the top toolbar next to edit, and delete. You don’t have to worry about it resetting the other polls in your deck because it only resets the current one that you’re editing.
A cleaner interface
Full screen creation and editing, as opposed to the pop-up window that existed before, makes editing and creating polls less distracting. All of the global controls are on top to keep it consistent with the new design (Done, Edit and Delete buttons).
It’s now easier than ever to interact with your audience, know what they’re thinking, and then to act accordingly. We’d love to hear what you think about the improvement, so don’t hesitate to send us some feedback at email@example.com with your thoughts!
